Since the last update there has been substantial progress with the Swimming Pool Rectification and Deck Replacement at Millennium Residence.
The Tender Committee and BMO, JPM and Management Committee have met multiple times and have the following progress to Report.
- Swimming Pool Rectification – After completion of the tender, evaluation of the bids and inspection of work done by the bidder the contract for the Swimming Pool has been awarded to Civil Master International, Co., Ltd (CMI). Initial preparation for mobilization is underway. After consideration of the options the Tender Committee, MC, JPM and BMO have decided that the contractor will start work after the Songkran holidays on 17 April 2017. The pool will be shut down for approximately 4 months from that date and access to the area restricted to Authorized Personnel. We understand that this is an inconvenience to all residents but the current condition of the pool is highly unsatisfactory and work needs to commence as soon as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience and we will work with CMI to complete the work as quickly as possible.
- Tiles – During March the option for the new tile scheme will be put on display in the pool deck area for residents to view. Co-Owners’ comments are welcomed. The goal will be to match the current color scheme as much as possible.
- Pool Deck Replacement – Various types of replacement materials are under evaluation by the Tender Committee and a recommendation will be brought to the MC, BMO and JPM at the end of March. The actual deck replacement will not start until June or July 2017.
- Special Levy Collections Status – Thank you to the vast majority of Co-Owners who have paid their Special Levy. A total of 96% of the funds have been collected. Legal action is in progress against the 27 units that are delinquent on paying their account.
