In 2009, before launch and move in at Millennium Residence, the owner of this website said that the rental for a nicely furnished one bedroom condo would be 55,000 THB.
Meeting with many “experts” I got the advise to “dont buy any condo at Millennium Residence” and “you got to be kidding thinking you will get that rent.”
I knew that releasing 600+ beautiful apartments all at the same time would drive prices down. Does not take a genius to figure that one out does it?
But when the honeymoon is over we need to think location, location, location.
And Millennium Residence right in the middle of central Bangkok is location per definition.
Well, let me clarify, location as in “we got shitloads of land and facilities in the middle of a major world capitol while others does not.”
Millennium Residence in Bangkok is like Trump Tower (no I did not vote for the Trump guy nor I am I eligible to vote in the US) but on steroids.
We have greeneries and we have land we can walk around in.
A huge swimming pool in the middle of Bangkok is almos unheard of.
Back to the rental thingy.
One bedroom condos at Millennium Residence is by far the best value for money and the rents will only go up, up and then up some more.
Of course, if you are in need of a bigger condo it is not a bad thing to look at one at Millennium Residence.
We are now looking at rents for a one bedroom condo at Millennium Residence of 50,000-60,000 THB and then we are talking average condos in either furnishing and/or floor level.
But it is good news for owners.
Sale prices and rental prices are up and its sellers market.
I can easily get 65,000 THB for my one bedroom condo and I was offered 49,000 THB already in 2012.
Sounds like I am bragging?
Yes, its because I am.
Yes, because I can.
Yes, because I was right then and I am right now.
The prices will continue to go up.
In 3-4 years the price for a one bedroom condo at Millennium Residence in Bangkok will be 55,000-70,000 THB.
